Be Tick Smart!

With the days getting longer we find ourselves enjoying the outdoors more often; going to parks or enjoying our own patios are two excellent ways to enjoy the beautiful weather.  But we are not the only ones taking advantage of these warmer days.  Different types of insect want to creep in and ruin our summer fun.  Our word of caution this month involves the spread of disease through tick bites.

The Ohio Department of Health’s website states:

“The best way to prevent tick-borne diseases is to prevent tick bites.  In Ohio, tick-borne illnesses are most often transmitted between early spring and late fall since ticks are most active during warm months.”

If ticks are a concern for you, your family, and pets, Green Valley Landscapes would like to offer our assistance.  One of the best ways to protect against these bites is to use an insect repellent approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).  Our experts use CrossCheck Plus Insecticide.  It comes in both a granular and spray application.  Give us a call to schedule an appointment to discuss this option with you.

UPDATE!

New Form of Payment

In the past we only accepted payments in cash or check.  Green Valley is proud to announce beginning in July 2018 we will also be accepting both VISA and MASTERCARD!  We hope this new payment option will offer our loyal customers more flexibility in how their accounts are handled. This new option will be explained in greater detail in our July Newsletter before we begin acceptance.
